Arab Mining Company and Arab Potash Company discussed opportunities for cooperation and plans to enhance their investments in the fields of fertilizers and mining in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in addition to discussing future partnership plans between the two companies. This came during a visit by a delegation from the Arab Potash Company, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Engineer Shehada Abu Hdaib, and the CEO of the company, Dr. Maen Al-Nsour, to Arab Mining Company on 12/28/2022, where the delegation was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, His Excellency Engineer Mohammad Ahmed Abdel Aziz Al-Shehhi and the general manager of the company, Mr. Hassan Yassin Al-Takrouri.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Shehhi welcomed the guest delegation, referring to the efforts of the two companies to achieve the common interest and develop the investment relations between them, and that this meeting comes within a series of meetings held by the Arab Mining Company with its partners and relevant authorities in the mining sector, referring to the company's endeavors to strengthen the bonds Joint work and cooperation with the Arab Potash Company, especially since the Arab Mining Company owns 20% of the capital of the Arab Potash Company.
Engineer Abu Hdaib touched on the strategic plans adopted by the "Arab Potash" in order to increase the level of its competitiveness and progress and achieve its objectives and those of its shareholders and investors, pointing out that the strategic
importance enjoyed by the company's products of specialized fertilizers, and has placed more responsibilities on it in order to ensure obtaining The people of the countries of the world have a safe and stable food supply at all times.
For his part, the CEO of Arab Potash Company, Dr. Maen Al-Nsour, talked about the development of the company's performance during the past years, and the most prominent major and capital projects to ensure the sustainability of its productive work, referring to projects to expand the production of potash of all kinds and colors, and projects related to fertilizer industries with high added value. In addition to projects related to maintaining production according to the highest levels in factories, in addition to projects related to reducing operational production costs.
Engineer Mohammad Al-Shehhi reaffirmed that the company's contribution to Arab Mining in the capital of "Arab Potash" is evidence of confidence in the safe and attractive Jordanian investment environment, explaining that this investment has contributed to creating long-term value for the shareholders of the Arab company, expressing his hope to build on cooperation and work relations.
