His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, inaugurated the Arab Basalt Fiber Company Factory in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, affiliated to the Arab Mining Company, which is the first and largest property to produce fibers and reinforcing bars from basalt fiber-reinforced boomer in the Middle East.
We announce to His Highness that these will be my strong needs for working from basalt fibers, which are characterized by light weight, durability, and resistance to corrosion and heat, which makes them indispensable in planning, transportation, participation, and advanced industries.
Engineer Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Shehhi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Mining Company, expressed his pleasure after thanking and appreciating His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, for his support for these attractive events and activities in the emirate, especially since Fujairah's excellent location and its integrated and industrial resources are considered a real and reliable formulation, which is essentially His Highness's strategy for the emirate's projects in developing work and advanced industries.
He pointed out that this new modern facility is at a reasonable distance of 42,000 square meters and has an annual production capacity of up to 5,000 tons of basalt fibers and 7,000 tons of basalt fibers.
The importance of this great witness and the first in the region, but rather that they are among the highest productivity in the world, and the Arab Mining Company is a pioneer in the region with the aim of developing the criminalization sector and alternative industries in the Arab world.
The opening was witnessed by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director of the E-Government Department, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, His Excellency Saeed Al Raqbani, Special Advisor to His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah, His Excellency Mohammed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Emir's Court in Fujairah, His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Al Afkham, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jira Natural Resources Corporation, His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Al Shehhi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Mining Company, Professor Ibrahim bin Saad Al Muajjil, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, and the members of the Board of Directors of the Arab Mining Company, Dr. Hassan Al Takrouri, General Manager of the Arab Mining Company, and Mr. Taha Al Khawaldeh, Director of the Investment Department/General Manager of the Arab Basalt Fiber Company.
