The Arab Mining Company, represented by His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Shehhi / Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hassan Al-Takrouri, General Manager of the Company, and Mr. Taha Al-Khawaldeh, Director of the Investment Department, participated in the work of the Fourth International Mining Conference, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, where the conference activities were launched on Thursday, January 16, 2025, under the slogan "Achieving Impact".
Several meetings were held between His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors and several prominent leaders concerned with the mining sector from various Arab and foreign countries participating in this conference.
The conference, which was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was attended by representatives of more than 90 countries, including 16 countries from the G20 countries. More than 50 official and non-governmental international organizations also participated, in addition to commodity trade unions and senior leaders of the global mining industry, and more than 75 dialogue sessions, for more than 250 speakers, with an attendance of more than 20 thousand people.
Among the most prominent issues discussed at the International Mining Conference were increasing added value in mineral-producing countries and producing green minerals using modern technologies and renewable energy.
