Arab Mining Company participated in The 6th Fujairah Forum for Industrial Rocks and Mining and the accompanying exhibition, Emirate of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates

Based on the keenness of Arab Mining Company represented by the Chairman and members of its Board of Directors and the Executive Management to contribute to the development of the mining sector at the level of the Arab world in response to the objectives of its establishment, the company participated with a high-level delegation headed by His Excellency Eng. Talal Al Saadi and a number of colleagues from the Investment Department in the 6th Fujairah International Forum for Industrial Rocks and Mining, which was held in the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates during the period 26-28 February 2018 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah.

Arab Mining Company delegation presented three research papers which reflect the vision of Arab Mining Company to establish innovative industrial mining projects with high added value in the Emirate of Fujairah, in cooperation with a number of international strategic partners.

 

The forum’s works were inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, representing His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah. The activities of the forum were distinguished by the presence of a large number of heads, directors and representatives of Arab bodies, institutions and companies concerned with mineral wealth affairs in the Arab countries, in addition to a number of well-known companies related to the mining sector. During this forum, 52 research working papers distributed over 10 working sessions were reviewed and discussed, most of which focused on discussing a number of important issues related to the mechanisms of developing the reality of mining investment in the Arab world, in addition to the role of the mining sector and related industries in achieving sustainable development.
